I didn't mean to imply that we'd discussed it here and you overlooked it (maybe we did, but then I missed it too). I was probably a little too dismissive, and I apologize for being rude.

The story's been around for quite some time and has been corroborated by multiple sources. If you google the words "Wolfowitz" and "Libby", you'll find hundreds of references to their 1991 paper. The NY Times got hold of it in 1992 and published excerpts, but their online archives only go back to 1996.
