Time will tell
We know that Saddam used chemical weapons against the kurds and Iranians. We have documentation that the Iraqis produced tons of VX. It is unreasonable to expect a murderous tyrant like Saddam to give up an entire class of powerful weapons simply to please international opinion. It can be taken for granted that the WMDs exist. The only valid question concerning the WMDs is why Saddam has not yet used them.
