Unfortunatly I suppose he's right...Why does the intenational community even bother calling them war crimes?

They won't be prosecuted anyway...

The UN wouldn't have the stomach to prosecute those responsible for your average war crime...Afterall, the Iraqi's were only doing what they had to to defend their homeland...Its expected that they would torture and execute prisoners...its expected that they would dress as Americans and then execute Iraqi soldiers who attemted to surrender to them...Its expected that at some point they will resort to the Use of poisen gas and who knows what else...What do you expect when you force them into a corner...

The UN's failure to address the war crime issue will be just one more example why the UN and international law are worthless when dealing with a dictator like Sadam Hussain and his SS troops.

When dealing with the Sadam Hussains of the world, apparently the only thing that matters is the threat of force.

Time to start the Military tribunals, and then laugh when the UN complains that the war criminals are being treated too harshly.
