Iraqi army
Tom Brosz — (archived)

I don't really have any evidence that the Iraqi army is nowhere to be found, but I have heard from some sources that the regular Iraqi army is largely sitting this one out. I personally don't see how that would work, since they can apparently be forced to fight. Anyone else hear anything along these lines?
