I agree with you on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but this is not an equivalent situation. For one thing, it's a different world. For another, Iraq is surrounded by Arabic nations carefully watching how we do things, and a doomsday strike in Iraq would IMO inevitably lead to the necessity for similar strikes across the Mideast. Would that work? Sure. Like I said, genocide ALWAYS works. But that way leads somewhere I really don't want America to be.
I'm willing to let this play out the way it's going right now.
