Significant Democratic issues on Romney to date:

Romney put a dog on the roof of his car.

Romney worked for a venture capital company.

Romney is rich. Have you heard Romney's wife has horses?

Romney beat up a kid in high school.

The whole resume flap, developed by conservative bloggers and alternative media, not the Republican Party, was a specific and targeted response to that last issue. Democrats hauling out a fifty-year-old incident, which is not even true according to the family of the person involved, as though this was the most important issue in the country.

I boldfaced that because you need to remember it.

The Democrats, as they say on Perry Mason, "opened the door." Some conservatives decided to show how easy it was for anyone to walk through it. Believe me, that isn't the only stuff they've found. It's just the only one I thought was ironic enough to post.

People who say that bio was an honest mistake are lying. I am dealing with agents and publishers. Biographies come from authors. It's on the website of Obama's agency, and has been for years.

Obama lied about being born in Kenya because it would sell more books. In the same way he lied about his political beliefs in 2008 because it would get more votes.

This wasn't one bio that was written once and forgotten. In the intervening years the bio got edited several times. The birthplace finally got corrected in 2007, when running for president became an issue.

Amusingly, at this time he also changed his parents from the rich-sounding "American anthropologist and Kenyan finance minister" to the more log-cabinish "father who was raised in a small village in Kenya and a mother who grew up in small-town Kansas." Tweaking his life again.
