Maybe they forgot to include food in their computer war games.... virtual troops don't need rations.
Has anyone heard anything more of the rumour of ammunition/munitions runnig low for the US in Iraq? That I find hard to believe, as even virtual wars have to have bombs and bullets. Unless they had a "cheat" key.
Also, when might it get really hot in the area? As I understand it, the chem/bio suits are almost unwearable in really hot weather. Maybe, if there are really gas weapons in Saddam's control, they're holding off using them, hopng for a heat wave.
Also again, with the restraints imposed on the US forces by trying to limit civilian casualties, how will urban warfare play out? Seems almost an impossible situation. As someone said on the radio the other day when comparing Baghdad to Stalingrad, the Germans didn't worry about civilians but they still came to a standstill. The person said there were many other differences as well, making comparisons questionable.
Didn't they have some kind of problem with supplies, too?
