I saw your arrival, and wanted to add my welcome. I'm another oldtimer, mostly as a participant, but I also occasionally duck into a phone booth and put on my moderator costume. When I do that I identify myself as "Robert Shepherd, Moderator" just to try and keep my personae straight.
A pointer about image tags: You need to enclose the SRC argument in quotes. This is what you typed:
<img src=http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=506&u=/ap/20030401/ap_wo_en_ge/eu_gen_britain_arnett_1&printer=1>;
It should have looked like this:
<img src="http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=506&u=/ap/20030401/ap_wo_en_ge/eu_gen_britain_arnett_1&printer=1">;
The same thing usually applies to links ("A" tags) too, and in general you should try to get into the habit of using quotes all the time in the interior of a tag to avoid problems.
