Ill will towards the Brits
I know we've had our differences with the Brits, them burning down our capital and all but defacing their graves? asking them to be dug up and disposed as garbage? but we've never, ever called those Limeys Rosbifs. Not ever.
Seems to me that when the leader of a nation seeking political gain enflames an excitable populace against targeted groups, be they Brits or Jews, it's hardly surprising that bad stuff kinda happens.
