Current Events » in reply to the press is losing the American public

They seem to think they can be the 'Cronkite' of this war.

So in a way they are not really reporting the war at all.
The only good journalism is coming from the embedded reporters who are actually reporting what they see.
Even after Baghdad falls, the Baathist party is broken up and the criminals tried and the nerve gas found, documented and destroyed, the hard core left, and the hard core believers and the weak corrupt like France will still refuse to accept that we have accomplished something important and good.
A hundred years after the US Civil War, there were small groups of people in the South who still beleived the confederacy could have won, or that the confederacy should have won.
And I am sure in Germany decades after WWII, there are still small groups of Germans who feel the same.
So what?
