I've seen some very good reporting from them but they lack the full picture. The reporters at CENTCOM thought they'd be getting the full picture every day and are mad that our generals aren't laying out the full battle plans in advance. In other words, they're clueless and probably jealous of the embedded reporters.

I watched some Fox news coverage this morning before coming to work. They had an embedded reporter with the Army near Baghdad who stated he'd heard some soldiers singing the Simon and Garfunkel song "Homeward Bound". They know they can't go home until they take Baghdad, so they're eager to get it on.

They then switched over to an embedded reporter with a Marine combat engineering outfit. He asked them, "Do you guys even know any Simon and Garfunkel songs?" They shook their heads. He asked on sergeant what he'll be singing when they enter Baghdad.

The sergeant replied, "Kill Them All by Metalica."
