The Postman Always Pipes Twice
The postmaster of the little post office behind the elementary school my children attended is, and was, a piper. He would bring the pipes to practice on his lunch hour, outside in back of the building. The children could hear him from the playground, and would often gather as close to the boundary of school property as they were allowed.
Wonderful instrument. Made the boys a little bellicose, though.
What do you hear from Och-Aye-Land these days?
