Yesterday was reality, so was the day before, so was today. Nobody has claimed converting the government would be easy just as no one in an official capacity claimed the war would be as easy as it has been so far. It's a tough job. It takes far more guts to take on that job than the likes of Clinton or Carter have ever demonstrated. Clinton because he wouldn't risk a poll point and Carter because he wouldn't risk any lives to save many more after his flubbed Iran rescue attempt. Great tasks are only accomplished by daring to take on the tough jobs. Clinton wouldn't even take a decent stab at a places like Somalia and Haiti.
