Another Case of Harrassment
That I posted here about 6-8 weeks after 9/11, were the cases of several highschool students, a couple of teachers and a member of their clergy who were flying from some small mid-western town to go to Washington for a peaceful protest of the treatment of civilians in Nicaragua (or something like that).
Not only were they detained and qustioned for HOURS (some of the girls were only 16 years old), but they missed their flights because THEY WEREN'T ALLOWED TO FLY. Half of them were allowed to travel the next morning.
Obviously the ones who could afford to buy another ticket.
