Politics aside...
Finding no sidnificant threat of WMD in Iraq would factor in in my decision of whom(gr) to vote for in 2004.
The absence of WMD would indicate, as some have said, that we've been lied to by somebody or our gov was mistaken.
What I looks like now is what we may have thought we knew was wrong and we went to war on assumptions. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that.
Because the war went well in terms of lives lost, it's easy to say the liberation of Iraq was worth the price.
