It may never occur.
the discovery of the trail is likely, but no time soon. It is supposed by the admin that the WMD paraphernalia was secreted out of country overland to Syria in the day preceding the U.S. assault. It is also very possible that negotiations were on-going between Iraq and Syria for months, possibly as far back as mid-2002 and the declaration of the Axis of Evil. If so, WMD was shipped out early this year and well is now hidden in the neighbor land.
That remnants of WMD exist somewhere in Iraq is likely, as is evidenced by Hussein’s personal threat to use them if attacked. Then again, the WMD might well already be in the hands of international terror organizations, and Hussein’s threat may yet come to pass.
But, no. That’s too logical.
<sarcasm>There are no WMD in or around the “free” nation of Iraq. In fact, there probably never was any WMD. The Kurds died of natural causes, and Papa Saddam was a likeable Joe who enjoyed inviting the public to play croquette and bad mitten on the palace lawns during those lazy, hazy days of summer in Baghdad. The U.S. was tired of spending a buck-fifty for a gallon of gas and thought, what the hey, let’s expand the Texas fields in the Middle East.</sarcasm>
The game ain’t over until all the chips are in,
