A large number of conservatives are in fact condemning Bennett's behavior. No inconsistency there. I never said I approved of his behavior either, but I don't consider it my business. It's not like I elected him to something.
I was just waiting for the Left to suddenly "discover" moral virtue in order to condemn him (now that Clinton is gone), in much the same way as they suddenly "discovered" fiscal responsibility once it wasn't their party piling up the deficits.
