The following is a response to a thread (here) Between RobVG and myself.

One thing that SHOULD be noted, is that I did believe in the existence of WMD (and wrongly, it seems), but I argued against terrorist links, and that there was clear justification for the war.

The response:

And they have done a great job? Never trust any governmental body with blind faith... Isn't that the republican credo?

Yes, you are right, it does. Why are you so effing offended, in this case, at my behavior? Are you surprised at my pique? My offense? You, your 'ilk' and the government LED US TO A WAR- KILLED PEOPLE, AMERICANS AND IRAQI. That blood is on MY hands as well. I charge you and your ilk did it out of ignorance, out of cognitive lazyness and out of arrogance. Yes, it does. But it seems you knew enough to charge to war. To ruin our most important alliances. To kill people. To castrate the ability for america to wield power on the international scene.

I am willing to negotiate the terms of this wager. I am afraid I CAN'T vote for bush for more reasons than the war. HOWEVER, I might vote Republican or (worse for the democrats:) Green for the congressional seats and/or Green for the democratic presidents ticket.

Its dubious that we would agree on what significant means.

also, the 2 main causes also include terrorist connections (this is the 'threat' part of the clear and immediate danger)

MEANWHILE, try not to get so nasty just because I *might* be right. Unless you wanna move over to flame...
