ED: "You were completely wrong about the war, and you continue to ignore the WMD evidence that has been found..."

MY REPLY: What WMD evidence? We've found nothing of the kind, only evidence that Iraq once had WMD's before the first Gulf War and that the U.N. inspections that followed were effective in getting rid of them.

ED: "...you sustain yourself by grasping every article from any source that remotely makes you feel good...even if, just like your previous article that you used to turn accidents into 'quagmire'."

MY REPLY: Our occupation in Iraq is proving to be very costly in terms of both lives and dollars. We are going to be doing this for years. There will be hostile acts, friendly fire incidents and accidents.

With the Clinton-built military, we were prepared for the war. With the Bush-built administration, we are not prepared for the peace.
