European constitution
I'm still looking for documentation on this. When the EU was first put together, I predicted that any European constitution would end up as a socialist bureaucrat's wet dream, with things like the number of sheets of toilet paper a citizen can use at a sitting being enshrined therein. Certainly it would not be what the American Constitution was intended to be--a powerful affirmation of the natural rights of the individual, and a restraint on the powers of the central government.
