There has been a group of protestors (usually about 12 of them) on a busy intersection here in Spokane for a couple of months now. I've admired their tenacity. They are ussually there for at least a couple of hours every work day as commuters head for home. Although I supported the war in Iraq, I thought the protestors also had their place. They didn't block traffic and didn't make a lot of noise. The posters they held up were pretty poor in message IMO until last night. Ussusally they were cheap shots at Bush or ramblings about oil. Last night's message was pretty good though. All but one protesto held up a blank sign. The one which was not blank simply stated: Brought to you by the US Patriot Act.
Although not completely honest, I think they made their point pretty well.
