Mircorp was an obviously risky gamble unlikely to pay for itself. It was always doubtful they could find enough Tito's to fund it. Blaming NAS is ludicrous. A perfect example of the blame someone else not me for my stupid pie in the sky plans.
Goldin lost his job due to ISS over runs. Gore lost a close election. Neither is related to Mircorp other than the fact that Mircorps theft of NASA paid for Soyuzes added additional cost.
