The issue isn't whether Saddam had WMD's or not but what the UN wanted from Iraq.
The UN wanted Iraq to get rid of its WMD's and so far, it looks like it did.
So, was it necessary to attack Iraq, on the basis of their threat to the world ?
The largest part of the world thought not.
