Had we done nothing, hundreds of thousands more would have been killed by Saddam and his sons in the next twenty years. Hundreds of thousands that now have a chance at a decent life.

And I'm sorry, but trying to argue that there is no "proof" that Saddam's regime would have abused and killed thousands of its citizens in the future is simply asinine. There is no "proof" that in the coming year Israelis will be injured and killed by Palestinian terrorists, but I will lay a bet of any size you care to name that it will happen.
