What exactly is the point of their exercise?
It looks like nothing more than grown men playing space cadets. When I was a young kid, I would put on my mom's silver exercise suit and my dad's motorcycle helmet. The family fishing boat was my space ship, and my go cart became a Lunar/Martian rover. It was great fun, but eventually I out grew such things.
Plywood modules and combustion powered ATVs are not going to get us anywhere, no matter how much fun they might be.
