I worked in receiving inspection of Hughes aircraft in Culver City CA at that time. They made the Surveyors. When they brought the camera back they disassembled it in the lab right next to where I worked. Unfortunately not many people were allowed in that lab, including me. I could however peak through a window and watch them work on it.
