I had to go into the server just now to edit the Ø out of your subject line just so that I could reply. If you'd knock it off I might have a little more time to think about adding boards....which will come after I modify the software to filter out characters like that!
There's something about the Ø right next to the end A tag ("Ø</A>") that causes some browsers to have some kind of epileptic fit and display a blank page when you click on the link. If you do a view source, you'd see that I'm using the character now through an HTML escape sequence--Ø--rather than coding it through the keypad with Alt. If you insist on putting it in your subject lines, please use the alternate escape sequence instead of the real character, at least until I can put a filter into the software to change it for you.
Whew! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Now, about your question: I think a tech board is a good idea and easy enough to do, once I get all the other fires put out. The story board's a good idea too, but I think it'll take a little more software to do it right and make it useful. I've seen people presenting chapters of a work in progress on boards for comment, and I think we'll need a way to set up a board on-demand for each work. Otherwise separate works get mingled and I'd say it would be hard to keep straight which thread is a chapter from which work.
Time, all I need is time...

Please stop with the "slashed O", some browsers seems to choke on it
