Trusting the U.S.
Nobody was "trusting" the U.S. Most nations had their own independent intelligence information leading most of them to the same conclusions about WMD in Iraq as we did. The knock-down, drag-out fights between the coalition and its opponents were NOT about whether or not Saddam had the weapons, but whether or not a war was the best way to disarm him.
