Simply listing debt growth without the context of asset growth is pointless.
Believing analysis based on that is naive.
IF we are getting ready to cllimb an asymptope of debt growth vs. national networth, it will be because of irresponsible spending, not a very modest reduction in taxes. No nation ever went broke allowing more of its people to keep more of what they earn. The going broke part always comes from the government hogging up all of the resources and squandering them in the name of the people, or, as in the 3d world, the govt. just being a front for thieves.
Until we have politicians who can do what corporate America does, and lower real spending, improve govt. worker productivity, and improve services, we are always going to be more or less near a disaster.
