Do you honestly think anyone is going to buy this in 2004?

Apart from squandering the most prosperous period of economic growth in the history of tcivilization, putting the nation back into deficit spendings, losing millions of jobs, risking the nation's standing in the eyes of the world by exaggerating claims of Iraqi WMDs, making an utter mess of the middle east, curtailing environmental protections that enjoyed bi-partisan suport for decades, Mr. Bush has one more "accomplishment" to brag about:

Bush team gets ‘D-minus’ on parks

June 11 — President Bush has often praised America’s national parks, but a report card out Wednesday by the largest parks advocacy group gave the administration a D-minus for what it called policies that undermine the nation’s natural jewels.

Bush's policies had nothing to do with the economic slump and most Americans know it. Name a single policy he enacted that caused the dot.com collapse and the stock market to flop. The first tax cut? Are you serious?

Most of America approves of what we did in Iraq. If someone would bother to actually poll the citizens of Iraq instead of just pulling the nearest protestor to a microphone, I would bet most Iraqis feel the same way.

Most Americans know damn well who's making a "mess" of the Middle East. It isn't Bush, and it isn't Israel.

As for "environmental protection," most Americans also know why there's a natural gas shortage when we have billions of cubic feet still underground.

How desperately did you have to scratch to come up with the "parks" bit?
