If Space (capitalization?) ended, then there would have to be something beyond it. If there is something beyond 'Space', then it would itself take up 'space' (no capitalization). Thus, if Space (referring to a place, much like an enormous city) ended, what would be call the area after it? 'More Space'? Kind of hard to wrap your head around isn't it? I suppose space has come to mean two different things. One being the area outside of our planet that holds all the other planets and stars. The other being some generic definition for a non-area specific...err...area.
