Salman Pak

I'm still not seeing anything from you refuting Salman Pak other than the Hersh article, and his only refuting source is two anonymous guys. It's worth pointing out that while the credibility of Khodad and Friend raises admitted issues, I see nothing whatsover other than Hersh's sayso on the credibility of his unnamed sources. What are you judging by?

While it is certainly obvious that the two Iraqis have an axe to grind in this, what objective reason do you have for thinking that Hersh and his sources don't? That they are objective and reliable? Hell, I already know Hersh would love to see Bush as the main course in an alligator pit, and that bit about a real airplane fuselage only being useful in ANTI-terrorism practice is ridiculous.

It's worth reading Khodad's original interview. It's possible he pulled all of this entirely out of his ass, but if so, he worked awfully hard on the details, and probably has a good future career in writing spy novels.

BTW, what specific original story are you talking about not finding? I can help locate any links that may have fallen through.

This assumes that it was just all MASSIVE mistakes and incompentence- not outright fictions. Okay, but lets play.

You have to drop the "Bush lied" crap. I have already documented--several times--that the United Nations, other countries, and the Clinton administration were just as convinced that Saddam was concealing WMD. If Bush is lying, they're all lying, and you can't twist around that. Give it a rest.

For a good time, read the U.N. Resolution 1441 then come back and try and convince me that this was written by an organization that did not believe Saddam was hiding any weapons of mass destruction.
