For some it is glass towers on the moon or looking through life from the inside of a bottle. Some folks live for talkshows and daytime televison. Others still, do drugs and see through the veil of distortion that makes their lives or the world more bearable. Then in the world of politics you have the politicians who seek to counter deep-seated insecurity complexes by securing a position in the public trust while the pundits alleviate the same insecurity complexes by tearing down those same politicians and having others read their words.
So much confusion, insecurity and insincerity in the world today. Many know no other way of living than to attack those who disagree with them or are different.
I myself fall victim to the 'attack mode' yet try to catch myself as soon as I can. Human nature is such that one almost invariably falls into this trap by default.
We can't control the world. We can't speed up folks evolution if they are inclined towards retrogression. We certainly can't make everyone understand what we do no matter how long or reasoned our appeal may seem to us.
Each has an infinitely diverse position and view and the reactionary aspects of the human psyche sometimes scream for relief. How each gets that relief is as varied and diverse as humanity.
I have great compassion for Don and for everyone else who has let the course of events in Iraq upset and frustrate them.
In time and with perspective all events and all things eventually find the balance within one's consciousness they deserve if one seeks to attain such balance.
