Damn...that was the last straw
Yet another side effect of making changes, in this case the big change of installing the experimental version of the interface on the alternate site.
Since it seems like the "experimental" version is more stable than the "official" version, I went ahead and switched the site over to the new version. Far as I can tell everything's running on a fairly even keel now.
Sorry...again. I sure as hell hope this takes care of everything. I'll be out today and unable to monitor the site, so I'll have fingers and toes crossed.
