U.S., British Forces Under Fire in Iraq
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. and British forces came under fire in Iraq on Tuesday, as security around the country's vital oil pipelines was beefed up after several explosions blamed on sabotage.
Britain's Ministry of Defense said British troops suffered several casualties when they were attacked near the city of Amarah, around 120 miles north of Iraq's British-controlled second city, Basra.
