Had they set explosives near British carriage stops and in British marketplaces - killing innocent non-combatants they might qualify as terrorists. However they spared their violence for the military forces of Britain and did not target civilians.

It is easy to try and paint all revolutionary movements with the same brush and equate the ANC with the founding fathers, however all revolutions are not created equal.

The proof of the pudding is in the governments established by each:

ANC: "One settler, one bullet"
America: "All men are created equal"

Some liken the ANC to black Nazis hellbent on retribution. While that may be an exaggeration, fundamentally the truth of the matter is that it is closer to accurate than not.

Revolutions work best when conducted and led by men who love peace - not violence.
