""It culminated in the decision taken in 1961 to prepare for armed confrontation. December 1961 saw the opening stages of the campaign in the simultaneous acts of sabotage which occurred in most of the main urban centres on the 16th.

The Move to Armed Struggle"

Tech-1. Are you saying they had no right to use violence?

Do you know anything about apartheid?

" Acts of sabotage (aka terror) were performed throughout the city and Nelson Mandela was one of the sponsors. "

Acts of sabatage (aka 'tea party terror') were peformed throughout the city and Paul Revere was one of the sponsors.

Tech one, somethimes people are entitled to use violence- in measure, to throw of the yoke of an oppressor. To deny that is to declare the American state illegitimate.

"This is why I laugh at Mandela's rhetoric now - a peace lover! Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize! "

Fool. South africa, upon the fall of the white regime, could have been the largest blood bath in history. Mandela, Tutu etc were the architects of a social and political miracle.

As usual, its fun to see you wave your ignorance proudly, like a banner.

"The Iraq war was nothing if not an armed militant movement shifting power from one class to another!"

Yes, right. And the problem is it was an imposition of power and a transfer of power to an invading force.

Kicking the hell out of a coulntry that is being brutalized by a dictator and taking unilateral poower is not liberation.
