MY REPLY: I suppose that news that contradicts one's prevailing paradigm is difficult to respond to. People tend to avoid dealing with facts that are inconsistent with their pre-established mindset.

My "one note symphony" consists principally of bringing to the attention of the board the contents of news articles about Iraq. I realize that for you and others here, the euphoria of sweeping triumphantly into Baghdad has now devolved into the funk of daily attacks and casualties, all in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction that did not actually exist. I know you don't want to deal with that tough news. But sometime you and others here are going to wake up.

I am just offering opportunities for you to be informed about what's going on so that the shock and awe of cognitive dissonance leads the way to ultimate enlightenment.
