Since everyone seems to be enjoying a good whine, I thought I'd get my own ten cent complaint.

The significance of the vortex.

I take a lot of flak about vortices and my apparent fixation with them. I might as well try to tackle this one more time.

I know what you're thinking - lots of things are curved or rolled up - heck a toilet paper roll is wrapped up in a spiral too - what's the big deal?

However, in cosmology there are 2 competing fundamental theories of universal function:

One state the universe is FINITE. All things will be destroyed and the universe was formed from nothing and will become nothing. This is the BIG BANG theory.

The other states the universe is INFINITE and constantly creating matter and new galaxies, etc. This was the STEADY STATE theory.

Generally the BIG BANG holds favor with a significant number of scientists and wrested away the mantle from STEADY STATE in the early 1960's.

So what's any of this have to do with vortices (vortexes)?

No one has every been able to get a scientific handle on the force of EXPANSION of the universe. Today most say this is the residual force of the BIG BANG.

The VORTEX is the missing link. The SHAPE of these vortices is CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT. The familiar galaxy shape assumes a spiral which is an INFINITE LOGARITHMIC SPIRAL. The most common being one which follows a ratio of 1:1.619...

So a big spiral...what's the big deal?

It's a VERY big deal because it is evidence of NATUREs METHOD of INFINITE EXPANSION. Yes energy can travel infinitely if it can travel through space in infinite logarithmic spirals!

So now we see these shapes in the galaxy and in everything formed within the galaxy. Our heart's electric impulses travel in vortices matching this same ratio! The blood coarses through our arteries and vessels in this same manner as well! Our planet is one big spinning oscillating vortex... spinning in our solar system which is spinning through our galaxy... which is spinning through infinite space. It's vortical shape will allow such infinite motions.

That in a nutshell my friends is the significance of vortices - evidence of the INFINITE FUNCTION and METHOD of ENERGY and the greatest evidence to date that the universe is NOT finite but is INFINITE.

That knowledge excites and fascinates me...and that is why I speak so often of vortices.
