Tommy Gold has gone off his rocker in the last few years. It is too bad. He did some great stuff earlier in his career. It is incredible that anybody would publish his rants about the non-existence of light pressure. They are obviously silly.
Also, when the photon suffers a red shift, it is effectively cooled which is the transfer of energy from a hotter body (color temperature).
