shows that T3 made around $42 million this weekend in the USA. Arnold's potential plans to run for office OR do a sequel to Total Recall reportedly hinge on this movie's success or lack thereof. What'll it be?

Incidentally, Armageddon was the biggest box office success of 1998. Nevertheless, it only took in a little over HALF of what Arnold's new movie did during its own opening weekend, which was also around July 4th if I remember. While I doubt T3 will catch Matrix: reloaded, it will likely make more than Batman & Robin (starring Arnold as Mr. Freeze) did: $100 million in the USA. I seem to recall reading that it's rare that movies make more outside of the USA than they do in the USA, but not unheard of. Gladiator did it, though. So did Matrix 1. If Mission to Mars and Red Planet didn't, though, then that will likely play a role in the Total Recall 2-related decision-making process...
