People like it when the good guys win. The movie T3 just didn't give that awesome triumphant feeling of bad guys getting their butts kicked, characteristics of a movie people want to see twice. Matrix Reloaded did, and I predict that alot of DVDs will be sold by Christmas. But Matrix Reloaded has the upper hand on computer enhanced special effects: there are alot of movies coming out now that have computer animations replacing the stunts, creating scenes that are so unrealistic they're just stupid. For example Charlie's Angels Full Throttle. The difference with Matrix Reloaded is the assumption that the stunts are taking place inside a virtual reality environment. So everyone thinks the stunts are that much cooler!!! I tend to agree. On a side note wrt Charlie's Angels Full Throttle, there is a scene that made even less sense to me than the computer animated action scenes: there's that part where all three of them are totally naked! It was totally unexpected, and I sat there thinking very uncharacteristically "Why aren't they wearing any clothes?!?" Seriously, it didn't make any sense, it was a remarkable discontinuity in the movie. But I doubt saying this will really harm ticket sales, eh?

re: T3 sucked. There were 30 people in the theatre on its 2nd day showing
