I try to be very precise about my definitions. It isn't easy--as we've seen in the past--since the opposition has a lot to gain by making sure such definitions cannot be precisely made. Semantic fog is their best friend. They're not Marxist or leftist, they're "progressives." Or whatever the word is this week. No leftists around here, we're just Democrats, or liberals. And of course the lines between "liberal," "leftist," "socialist" and outright "communist" are blurred, constantly moving, and have considerable overlap in places.

The leftist's greatest weapon is often just the two words, "who, me?"

This is only a small piece of the leftist picture. If you added the more moderate elements, it would be all over the place.

And even if the organizations I mentioned are not specifically anti-American, I do not believe their philosophies and actions are good for the nation.
