What did Bush actually say, Lindy?
Go back to the actual sentence in question. Bush said these exact words:
"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."
Fact is, the British government STILL stands by the claim even today according to this MSNBC article. Their assessment was not based on the forged Nigerian document.
That being the case, how did Bush lie, deceive, or mislead anyone in any way during the State of the Union speech? This isn't about refuting one another, it's about getting to the truth. Are you interested in the truth, Lindy, or are you just interested in bashing Bush?
