I think some of you will live long enough to see a billionaire "space tourist" circle the moon [circumlunar navigation] with a professional cosmonaut/taikonaut.
The billionaire would have to pay hundreds of millions of dollars
for the privilege.
The Soyuz spacecraft that sent Tito and Shuttleworth upto the ISS
for a hefty fee are larger variants of the Soyuz spacecraft that the late
Soviet Space-Director Korolev designed to loop around the moon with
two cosmonauts.
There are still a couple of lunar-Soyuz variants in mothballs 'somewhere' in Russia. And the Proton rockets meant
to send those Soyuz craft to the moon? Well....They cost about
$50-100 million dollars to build and launch [Astronautix.com].
