No Nazi pilot commanded the plane, no apparent Ghost of the Killer Skies was wrecking revenge on Americans...but I can't help but wonder if there is some small hidden unseen evil here at work. Folks who run old planes generally care for them better than themselves and the dangers averted seem almost like someone or thing wanted to wipe out a bunch of school children or create a blazing fuel inferno.
I think the pilots have earned their true wings.
