Sunrise

You're perhaps Surveyor 5, at Mare Tranquilitatis, you've landed there on september 11 1967 and every synodic revolution (29 days 12 hours 44 minutes and 2,8 seconds) the Sun rises where you are, the shadow leaving at a speed of about 13 km/h. The place is totally silent and perhaps you turned orangish as your brother Surveyor 3 at Mare Procellarum (that lucky one got the visit of humans-my closest visitors, the first ones, came close but not enough).
This is what it could look like, painted by Davis Meltzer for the National Geographic Magazine october 1966 p 583. The vertical line is the page division.
