I'm gland to see you talking about something you are no doubt familiar with.
The issue here is rather simple, either Bush went before the American people and lied, or this administration has no one capable or wanting to check the facts.
With all of his staff, one would imagine that he had someone that would check and see if his gun were loaded before sending him off to the OK shoot out.
The other unpleasant conclusion would be to suggest Bush and company were grabbing at any straws available to justify an invasion of another soverign state and sell the need for that invasion to the American public.
Take your pick. Saddam? Uday? Cusay? Shucks, nobody seems to be at home. WMD's? Osama bin Laden? Sheik Ommar? A link to Al Qaeda, maybe? How about an Elvis sighting?
Come off it dude. This is no quagmire for the Democratic party, but it is a disgrace for the American people and their time honored and honed values.
And the sorry state of the economy hasn't even been added to the calculus.
