No one in the US of A cared about North Korea, until North Korea drew its big guns and aimed them at Japan. Today, the threat posed is one of selling to terror organizations for attacks against Western interests, generally those of the Allied Coalition, and specifically the US of A, as leader of that coalition.

The latest claim from Pyongyang was communicated to the Bush administration last week, three months after North Korea said it was beginning to reprocess 8,000 spent nuclear fuel rods that were under United Nations seal until the UN inspectors were ejected from the country at the end of 2002.
