Without the erroneous vaporware claims that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and links with Al Qaeda, the people of this nation would have never supported going to war without the support of the U.N. The claims were exaggerated to motivate public opinion and put pressure on reluctant members of Congress from both parties.
